On January 14, 2014, the manuscript kick-off meeting of "Standardized Design of Affordable Housing Kitchens and Integration of Parts System" was held at the Housing Industrialization Promotion Center of the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development. Wen Linfeng, deputy director of the Ministry of Housing Industrialization Promotion Center, leaders and experts of housing industrialization management departments in Beijing, Shenzhen, Jiangsu, Jinan and other places, Beijing Institute of Architectural Design, Beijing University of Technology, and more than ten companies including Fangtai, Macro, and Boloni Representatives of well-known enterprises in the industry attended the meeting.

 

"Standardized Design of Affordable Housing Kitchens and Integration of Parts System" is the fourth in a series of books on the industrialization of affordable housing, a key national "Twelfth Five-Year Plan" book. The main purpose of this manuscript kick-off meeting is to listen to the opinions of all parties, improve the framework of the manuscript, clarify the division of labor, and accelerate the writing work.

 

Deputy Director Wen Linfeng first introduced the background and significance of writing the manuscript, and pointed out that focusing on promoting green development, circular development, and low-carbon development has become an important task and main content of the transformation of economic development mode, and we should seize the historical opportunity of affordable housing construction. Vigorously promote housing industrialization, comprehensively improve housing quality, and achieve energy conservation, water conservation, material conservation, land conservation and environmental protection. The connotation of residential industrialization is very rich. Both "industrialization of construction methods" and "industrialization of interior decoration" are important components. Among them, the standardized design of kitchen and the integration of parts and systems are one of the important contents of "industrialization of interior decoration". The characteristics of standardization, modularization, generalization, assembly, and integration of civil construction and decoration of residential industrialization are improved.

Deputy Director Wen Linfeng expressed his gratitude to the experts and scholars participating in the conference for their strong support for the writing of the manuscript, and hoped that this research team composed of housing industrialization managers, experts and scholars, and first-line product developers can complete a high-quality book. Professional books that can withstand the inspection of industry experts, can withstand the industry application test, and can truly guide the interior industrialization work.

 

The leaders and experts at the meeting had a lively discussion on the first draft of the manuscript framework. Cen Yan, deputy director of the Shenzhen Municipal Commission of Human Settlements and Environment, proposed that the development of industrial standardization and modularization concepts, the application of modular design methods, the decomposition and assembly of modularization, etc. should be clarified in the manuscript; Teaching and Research Office of the Department of Industry, School of Art and Design, Beijing University of Technology Director Li Hua proposed to deeply integrate local practices and engineering examples to show the standardization of kitchen design and the integration of parts and systems in a way of both pictures and texts; Fan Zesen, deputy director of the Beijing Institute of Architectural Design, proposed that the relationship between content and logic should be handled well. On the premise of completing the first draft of the chapters, readjust the framework of the manuscript according to the logical relationship of each part and the richness of the content; Ningbo Fangtai Jiang Zhiping senior engineer proposed to in-depth study of the existing national standards for kitchen design, pay attention to the combination of the manuscript and existing standards. Representatives of other participating units also put forward opinions and suggestions.
