The second phase of the city’s rail transit project has a total of 5 lines of 156 kilometers, and 111 stations, 3 integrated hubs, 5 depots, 2 parking lots, and 7 substations. The amount of work is large, the implementation is difficult and the investment intensity is high. Time is pressing. In the construction process, the majority of builders "want to do, dare to do, do fast, and know how to do", which embodies the "Shenzhen speed" and "Shenzhen quality", and embodies the special zone spirit of reform and innovation. After Beijing, Shanghai, and Guangzhou, the fourth city to achieve network operation, it provides strong support for our city to alleviate urban traffic congestion, build a public transit city, and improve urban efficiency and competitiveness. According to the "Shenzhen Rail Transit Recent Construction Plan (2011-2016)" approved by the National Development and Reform Commission, the city will build 6, 7, 8, 9, 11 five subway lines from 2011 to 2016, with a length of about 171 kilometers. According to the actual conditions of each line of the third phase of the project, it will be launched in three phases. The preliminary construction of Line 11 will be launched on the 29th of this month, the construction of Lines 7 and 9 will be fully launched in 2012, and the construction of Lines 6 and 8 will be launched in due course. After the completion of the third phase, the city's rail line will be 350 kilometers long, and the average daily passenger volume is expected to reach 4 million.
